The Kurşunlu Waterfall is an absolute destination in your trip. Located 19 km far from Antalya, at the end of a 7 km road branching off to the north of the Antalya-Serik-Alanya highway at a point 12 km from Antalya. It is reduced to a mere trickle in the summer months.
394 hectares of that area had been proclaimed as Natural Park in year 1991, because of its healthy forest structure in which the rich plant community of the area unites with interesting water and rock forms in the Kurşunlu Waterfall by creating an unique natural landscape characteristic.
The waterfall is on one of the tributaries of the Aksu River and its situation in the midst of a pine forest is of quite exceptional beauty. The countryside around the water forms a lovely picnic and pleasure spot only twenty minutes from the centre of the city of Antalya. The surrounding area offers plenty of walking opportunities, especially along the Aksu river. While the falls are more of a trickle in the summer months, it is sometimes possible to spot trout and turtles in the pools that form here.
